With such an innovative design and idea, Dolphin Plunge has become a fan favorite for all ages. A pair of tube water slides shoots riders down at high speeds. The most interesting part of the ride is when the slide turns into clear glass, where you’ll find yourself in an underwater world surrounded by the stars of the attraction: Commerson’s Dolphins! You’ll be able to see them up close as you come towards the opening of the slide. Seeing these playful dolphins up close while in the midst of a high speed water slide is surely something you’ve never experienced before.

Walhalla Wave & HooRoo Run
Every water park has to have a great family raft ride. At Aquatica, the word great is quite the understatement when referring to the thrill that is Walhalla Wave as well as it’s sister raft ride HooRoo Run. Towering above the entire park at a whopping 6 stories high, the ride will send guests on a winding, water slide path that leads right into a huge splash pool at the bottom. Unlike most water park raft rides, guests get to enjoy the amenity of a tube lift that runs between the two raft rides. This way, riders won’t have to carry the family-sized inner tube up the 6-story climb to the peak! With high speeds and plenty of water to drench the whole family, Walhalla Wave and HooRoo Run have become quite the popular pair.
Walkabout Waters
If there’s one part of the water park that all of the little tikes will rave about all day, Walkabout Waters will almost always be in on the conversation. A huge fort filled with all sorts of exciting twists, turns, and, of course, boat loads of water, awaits for the youngest of the family to join the fun. Covering over 15,000 square feet, Walkabout Waters has plenty of room to contain all the excitement. Kids can climb, splash, and lose themselves in a water world of wonderment. So if you’re looking for a way to please the kids while taking a breather yourself, Walkabout Waters is the place to be.
Whanau Way
Grab a partner and get ready to have a blast when you make your way towards Whanau Way. Four different slides make up what Whanau Way has to offer, with each providing its own incredible ride experience. Guests hop into double inner tubes and speed down these humungous slides, hitting waves on the way down before splashing into the pool that waits at the bottom. This ride has become a classic for new guests as well as returning guests. Don’t worry, as long as you can hold onto the provided handles without assistance, just about anyone may ride. So take time from your day to have fun on Whanau Way.
